STILL ME... After All These Years

A BOOK ABOUT LIVING EVERY MOMENT OF LIFE!

Poignant...Humorous...Brutally Honest!

BLURB: A collection of personal reflections guaranteed to keep you inspired and entertained on that journey we all travel together: The Journey of Aging

With a blend of grace, dignity, warmth and humor, women and men from 60 to 90 and from all walks of life candidly share the blessings and pitfalls of aging – from keeping dreams alive and keeping sex lives active to dealing with retirement, loss of independence and a growing sense of mortality.

When I was invited to write a (proposed) chapter for this book, I felt honored. Then I felt intimidated. After all, I'm a member of the IWSG (Insecure Writers Support Group) and that should tell you everything you need to know about my confidence in my writing ability. The thought of my story/essay being included with twenty-three fantastic authors--writers who have important insights into aging to contribute--gave me pause. Then I thought oh well, WTH, I'll give it a shot.

My contribution was accepted! Go figure. It's out there now. For God and the world to see. I even used my real name. It is ready for pre-orders on Amazon.com. The hardback edition will be available in a few weeks.

Reserve your copy today. I know you'll love twenty-three of the chapters. Please be kind when discussing the other one...

    1. Thank you, Liz. I've been missing for a while. I got a case of cold feet regarding my next Proctor Hollow book. This (Still Me) was a real boost to my ego, but now I'm insecure about how my story will hold up against every else in the book. LOL

  2. Congratulations!!! I can't wait to read it. I know your story will be awesome. I think the fact that the IWSG has SO many members tells us a lot about how intimidating writing can be!
